I was researching my rearend options in my SA when I ran across this. I don't know if this has ever been mentioned (couldn't find any references to it), nor if it would ever be necessary, except at the outer limits. It looked interesting and the company's name, RCC Specialties, is pretty cool too.

A 9 inch IRS at what looks to be comparatively competitive pricing. Way more than I currently need, but I thought of those that are running huge horsepower and want to keep an IRS for road racing while having the strength and ratio options of the 9 inch.

Here's another link with good pictures showing a unit going into a Cobra kit car. This is for those of you like me that can only drool.

That looks like a Jaguar 3rd member variant.

I have seen them in rat rods and such around here. They are compact, and relatively simple to mount. Pretty sweet with the inboard brakes too.

They said they based it on the Jaguar rear. But they added upper A-arms to take the load off the half shafts (Toronado shafts, 650 hp capable) and added a link to eliminate toe changes. The brakes can be mounted inboard or outboard. I thought this might interest someone that was building a high end car and didn't want to engineer their own double wishbone rear suspension.
