Out of curiosity guys , with Street Port , what kind of HP numbers are you getting from the Stage 3's ??
street port, 16lbs 363HP on a very hot day.

I made 351 with a stock port at 16lbs, with a fairly rich tune. I gained 8hp by leaning it out from 10.5-10.8. It should be making 360+ since I leaned it out to 11.1-11.2. I just didn't feel like pulling it on the dyno any more that day. I need to mess around with the timing, I may do that this summer sometime.
I think max on the twins with a street port is is around 430hp+ non-seq, and 410-420 seq?? Bryan should know.

ZGN. Get another intercooler and gain 40 RWHP! heheheh Thats all you gotta do.
Chris, looks good. Numbers are coming up... Bump the timing and you'll start seeing gains. Split timing will also help a bit with extracting some powah!
There have been many dyno in the mid 420's RWHP in non sequential form. Sequential record is 412. There has been a dyno sheet for 445 RWHP sequential, but there was speculation with that dyno sheet.

Thanks, I think I have a small boost leak somewhere around the LIM area. I did a test yesterday and all I heard was air coming out of something, not to mention their is nasty oilly mist looking crud all over the inj. area. That's probably why it's a little low on power.

Hey Chris. You may need to replace those primary injector bushings. If you forget to put them in it will make a mess and be a big boost leak. Look at your oil metering lines to make sure they aren't broken in the loom.

It does sound like the air is coming more from the primary inj. than from up toward the LIM. I'll probably look at it this weekend sometime. I remember something being iffy about those when I put the new injectors in.
Man it's a PIA to get those out though!!

yup pita pita with all that sequential stuff. while you are under there check the oil metering lines. That is probaby where the oily mess is coming from. If those lines are fractured then the engine will not get any lubricants. If you move them and work around them they will easily break.

Looks like its the grommets on the injectors, I remember one being kinda iffy, now that iffy one has turned into about half of one. Also if I plug the holes where the inj. go I don't hear or fell any air coming from anywhere else down around there.
The oil line have been replaced with some good braided rubber(something) lines.
And now that I think about it, I think the mess may be from where I had a coolant hose leak and the antifreeze is probably sicky so all the dust and crap is just probably sticking to the top of the engine. I'll try and clean it off a little if I can get to it. I'll probably just spray some brake cleaner if I can keep it off of all the other crap in the way.

Now you may need to readjust the boost :D.

I hope that is why it was dropping off some up top. If so I'll feel better about turning it up.

Quite a few people have made 420ish rwhp at 17 psi non-seq with a ported motor :cheers2:

I wonder what a stockport motor would do at 17-18 psi non sec. 380-400?

yeah, just waiting on gaskets to install it. Plus it's an S5 Stage 2. I don't think it will work on your car.
