Hey guys/gals,
I just wanted to introduce myself over here in the 3rd gen section. I used to have my '87 TurboII and after some mishaps with it at the end of it's time with me I parted it out/sold it. I was out of the Rx-7 game for a good couple of months and wasn't happy. I ended up recently picking up my 3rd Rx-7. A '94 VR FD.
I absolutely love it and have fallen in love all over again with 7's. It's pretty stock and I bought it with a rebuild motor and 89k on the chassis. It had a downpipe & koyo radiator with it when I bought it.
I added the following when I picked it up:
-R1 front lip & rear wing
-Rear mudguards
-Stock FD wheels w/ new tires
-Alpine headunit
-A'pexi Power FC w/ EL commander
and just yesterday did the "DIY" '99 spec tail light conversion per rotaryaddicts.com! I am super happy with the car all around. I can't get over the looks/compliments! It drives so nice and feels great to be in another 7. I still miss my TurboII but can't believe I have an FD now!!!
I wasn't planning on DGRR this year but now I am pumped as can be and looking forward to it!
