Im the same moritsune from the rx7 and 8 club forums. i was recently reading the jan 10 modified mag and ran across this forum in the rotary love article. so i registered, and have some near lost cause condition cars im building atm. Bring on the criticisim!

I pick up my fd next weekend and the red 85 i have is a fully stripped down shell from an auto 12a. ive done alot of work to get the 85 where it is. But i found a good deal on the FD shell and ive always dreamt of having one. So wish me luck through the summer on getting parts :D

thats the plan. my gf is flippin out about me buying that fd when i havent even gotten the first gen running. i just need to get on the ball with them both getting painted and motor/tranny. i dont think im gonna go with the 12a in the first gen... im sick of trying to track down parts. the carb situation has been giving me the worst time in the world.

Just get a 6-port from an FC and throw it in the FB.

that could work, but i have to find one. Both cars are straight gutted. i even pulled every last ounce of sound deadening out of the 85. I pick up the 93 this weekend hopefully.

That junk yard makes me want ot cry!! So many RX7's and two 8's...Like it was said before find a good deal on a 6 port and check the ads for a good carb kit RB/Holley..people going turbo will sell off complete kits. Also the FB looks to be a GS find a GSL rear and upgrade to LSD and disc brakes. That would make it a pretty fun car to drive.
