Ladies/Gents,
I'm seeking help for my situation so that I can (possibly) find a speedier solution than what would probably come about by not asking for any help.
I was recently deployed and my FD hasn't been started in approximately 8 months. I replaced the battery and received power to the car; alarm came on, when the key went in the gauge cluster fired up and the car turned over - I had the EGI MAIN relay taken out so that I could build oil pressure without starting the car. At this point, the first time attempting to turn it over, the car went dead (as if no battery was connected at all).
I've done some searching around the interwebs to find a solution, but the only question I saw that was the exact problem I'm having was unanswered. I'm currently in Washington, so the weather is impeding taking out all the relays/fuses and checking them with a multimeter - I have however checked the 15a fuse for the engine under the dash and it gave a slight resistance reading so I replaced it, though I think it was probably fine. (still no power)
If anyone has any ideas as to what I should target next I would really appreciate it as time to get work done is scarce. I sometimes get a 15 minute break in weather and I try to do as much as I can, but it's been pretty bad up here lately...(The steering column is locked out so a tow is nigh impossible and it's out in the open)
Again, any help is appreciated.
