hey everyone. my names alex, im new to the forum. i currently have a 90 Miata and an 88 s4 Turbo that im in the process of pulling the motor from to build and swap in to the miata. at a quick glance i can already see im not the only one doing this lol but it will be my project over the next few months and i hope to post everything on it for everyone to see. here a few pictures of them.

motor is going to be out of the fc tonight and torn apart and then im porting it and sending the housing out to mazdatrix to have them lapped so i get a fresh start! ill probably make a build thread but ill keep everyone updated!

lol oh i know, i love life and ive been doing research on it for the part few months. its gonna be crazy but im determined!

It isn't really all that difficult. It seems like you have a decent shop to work on them, so I don't think you'll have a problem.

Hurry up, DGRR 2K11 is coming soon, and I see Kentucky tags, so BE THERE!

haha i actually live in mason right near kings island. those pictures were taken about 7 months ago when i first got the miata from lexington with a blown motor. but believe me, i want to be done for the rotary rally but we shall see. hopefully i am and see you all there so i can put some faces to the names!

Cool project. What is wrong with the RX7 that you are taking the engine out? Are you figuring on getting another engine for in it? If not, is your RB catback for sale?
