Sorry if this is already covered in another thread. But Im using my phone and combing through old threads isnt really an option.

Situation:
My '04 RX8 is in the shop. While the tech was working on it, he decided that 2 of my engine mounts need to be replaced because they are out of hydrolic fluid. The car has about 70k on it.

Question:
Just want to make sure its a plausibly legit problem?

yea, they have a bad habit of collapsing cause they're fluid filled. Personally, I want to get some semi solid mounts. if you don't believe them, tell them to show it to you. Simple enough solution.

It's possible. Like he said above.
