I would have to say the only mod I regret are the RotaryFX parking LEDS/Fog Lights and my CP racing 4 point strut bar (makes working in the engine a PIA). And maybe not going with full coilovers from the start.

havent done too many things to my 8, but as far as regrets I wish I had gotten some wider rims with a lower offset. My enkei's look good I think, but man I wish I had some pf01's 18 X 9.5 on all four corners with a +35 offset

A lot of the mods on 7club, BWAHAHAHA. No, there are a few good ones over there.

Seriously though, I wish when I went single turbo that I'd just saved my money and got a full kit the first time instead of piecing together my own kit and blowing it on the dyno lol. There might be a few other things too but for the most part I've been pretty happy with all my mods.

^ Going FI is something that should definitley be planned out and budgeted for with much detail. I am beginning to consider that now.

Giving myself a "heavy foot" if I had stayed off the throttle I would no be rebuilding it so soon... again :P

my rationale was... if I've rebuilt it once, why cant I do it again... well guess what I'm doing this winter.. lol

Glowshift digital gauges... leds are crap in those units ..

Another crap issue with the Glowshift gauges is the the constant +12VDC connection required to remember the last color setting can drain a good car battery dead in about 2~4 weeks if the car is being stored. I have a set of 3 of the black 7 color series analog (oil pressure, oil temp & water temp) gauges in my FC. Last winter that's exactly what happened while my car was sitting in the garage for a few weeks. Did a little electrical troubleshooting and determined the current draw on my 3 gauges was 250 mA (= 1/4 Amps) when off.... Naturally I only discovered this after the warranty expired. So until I get some good gauges, I added a switch to cut the constant +12VDC to keep my battery alive.

I wish I had rebuilt my last motor and drove it for a bit longer before tearing it out for a new one. I could have had a few more months of fun.

Also, I wish I would have had the rear-end narrowed a bit more. Even another inch would prevent the wheel offset problems I'm having now.

It's not so much I regret the mod, it's I regret the design. It sounds good, but when it rains the design is horrible. Filter gets so wet you can't get high up in the RPM range without detonating. It's also a PITA to clean the filter as you have to take off the bumper cover to get to it. Kinda wished I'd gone with the RB setup. I'll keep it til it blows then go Pettit SC.

OOO that doesnt sound good.... was it bad fitment or just poor quality? If I ever have spare cash lying around I am just gonna get one of these and put it on my stock bumper. Its CF so I dont have to worry about getting the wwp paint (expensive as FUUUUU)

In a similar vain, I'm not sure running it headfirst into a concrete post this weekend was the best modification either....:driving: :banghead:
