Hey. I know I'm new to the forums but hoping I can find some good people on here to lend a helping hand. I want to pull my engine out and I'm slightly afraid when I do I won't be able to put it back. hah Never done anything like that before but I have quite a few issues, CEL, OMP, A/C and was wanting to check everything out. I want the car to be ready for the DGRR as I was deployed and missed the last one. Been watching Rotary Aviation's overhaul dvd trying to learn all I can. If anyone is willing to help I can get some beer or some cash ha for some help/explanations. I come home from Afghanistan in about 2 months. I currently stay in Newton. Well, if your interested let me know! Thanks.

My email is ptotherice at gmail dot com. Hit me up if you aren't too far from Mooreville and I'll definitely come help. I've never pulled a rotary myself, but extra hands are usually a plus regardless. Just let me know bud!

Why don't you post this in the regional section instead of spamming the entire FC section...?

Just download the FSM, get an engine hoist, a set of metric sockets, and a digital camera. If you run across something you are unsure about snap some pictures and then post them on the forum. You'll usually get almost immediate response from fellow members.

It's a fairly simple task to pull the engine.
If the wiring is concerning you, make sure you label everything as you disconnect it. A little common sense will go along way.

Be sure to take plenty of pictures while you remove things so you have a reference to go back to if you forget during reassembly.
