I used to buy hundreds to thousands of dollars of parts from him monthly. Got to where he would send me rusty ass rotors with the side seals LOCKED in place. When I would ask him WTF, he told me that he was "making me a deal" on them at $300-350/set shipped in that condition, and that if I didn't like it he would send me normal ones that weren't in that condition for $425/set.

A business associate of mine made a deal for several core engines, and it was specified up front thatall of them should be FD blocks, none of them could be cosmo RE, none of them could be rusted inside, none could be disassembled/rebuilt prior, this deal was made for about $2000 plus shipping. The blocks were not expected to be great, after all they were cores, but each block was expected to yeild at least one rotor and rotor housing, and most of the irons/shaft/etc.

What showed up was one pieced-together, partially painted multi-color piecemeal block with mostly junk parts inside, one cosmo RE with apex seal damage, an FD block with severe apex damage to both rotors, and a rusted FD block with almost no useable parts inside. So, that 2 grand plus shipping yielded about 5-6 useable parts, some of which were cosmo irons that were specified up front as not wanted.

It took several angry emails and phone calls between them to get a few more parts in questionable/rough condition to be sent out, which were still not what was discussed, and finally a partial refund for the junk.

There's been several other times his selling practices have been proven shady, including one time on rx7club when he sold a junk block to fritz flynn. He made statements about it's warranty and compression before the sale, the buyer proved that it was not what it was advertised to be, he lied about it, and ryan scott got into his PM box and posted the PM's in the thread which stated otherwise.

Thanks I was going to refer my friend to him luckily I read this post:icon_tup:
