View Full Version : What are these? JDM headlight adapters?

Lights weren't acting right, and I found these inline with my headlights. Took them out and my lights work again, so I assume they are old/dead/water damaged.The car was still using the standard bulbs, so I guess they're not HID converters or anything.

If these are some super rare JDM part, are they worth fixing and keeping or selling? Otherwise they are going in the garbage.

if i remember correctly... they were a power booster of sorts for aftermarket bulbs...

Yeah the more I thought about it, they must be junk. Any kind of real amp would have an extra 12V supply, right?

Yep, those are voltage conditioner/boosters. Basically they're there to boost the voltage going to your lights, more lumens at the expense of bulb life. They aren't super rare or worth keeping.
