Anyone know what the thread pitch is for the coolant temp sensor (the one that screws into the bottom of the radiator? Help would be greatly appreciated as I'm going to be buying some T-Fittings and what not for my new cooling system tomorrow (I guess that's this morning), and would like to only have to buy stuff once.

Thanks!

And consequently since it appears that this sensor is solely for the use of a cooling fan, could it possibly be retro fitted to an after market relay to control the E-Fan I'm going to install (rather than use the stupid push in temp probe that's built in on the adjustable thermostat/relay)?

MazdaTrix says it's a Metric Pipe thread... Which narrows it down I guess?

im sure you could use it to activate a fan via a relay if you can choose when the relay opens.

What does this coolant sensor go to anyways? Does it go to the gauge, or somewhere else?

It appears to be used in the activation of the AC....
