hi guys...im having some questions regarding the sheepdog bov on my car
i dont know whether it installed correctly or not

cause i heard most of the car that using sheepdog bov having the flutter sound this is how my bov sounds like :

im running on 0.5bar, or i have to increase the boost ?

Is this the "flutter" sound you're talking about?

That's compressor surge... you don't want that. If yours isn't doing that, that means you installed it correctly. :)

yep thats the flutter sound i talking about
compressor surge....that means it cause damage to the mechanical parts ?
to be frank it sound nice though....no other way i can get that sound without injured the mechanical parts ? hee hee :rofl:

There's no BOV that makes that sound. It's probably not going to cause catastrophic failure of your turbo, and in fact there are those who would debate that it's even necessary to run a BOV at low boost levels. But compressor surge does put stress on the turbo's thrust bearings and could cause accelerated wear. Plus, venting the correct amount of air reduces lag after shifting.

yep...since you mentioned about lag...when i trying to adjust the screw on top of the bov to make it tighter or looser, it make different
and the dump sound getting louder if i adjust it tighter at the same time the car respond faster after shift gear too
