I am from Birmingham, AL but currently away for another 214 days, (undisclosed location) Hate that I am going to miss DGRR this year but I'll be at DRGG 2011. I have a stock 2004 RX-8 with a spec stage 1 clutch and have owned it since new. Look forward to doing some modifications when I get back!
Thanks ZGN for telling me about this site and for the RCC Shirt!

Welcome!

One of my best friends is currently in an 'undisclosed location' as well. The 278th ACR.

Say hi to Wes if you see him! Make it back safe!

there's a thread on the forum about wearing your RCC shirt in different locations... "undisclosed location" is about as good as they get. Welcome!

I have an 8 that looks JUST LIKE that. I'm currently in an "undisclosed" location as well. I can't wait to get back home and drive my car again. How about you?

I'm looking forward to it. Yet, I have been thinking of trading it in and getting one of thoes new camero's but realize that's just DUMB! I've had too much fun with this car to just dump it like that. Where you from? Maybe we can compare 'cars' at the next event. Stay safe!!

I dont think the military is as strick with information reguarding where your deployed anymore... or should I say people in the military arent as strict. The military itself probably wants it kept quite. Yet, congrats on your FD!! Deployments can sometimes bring out the best in life!

Thanks for the welcome!!

hmm... it is what it is... i did my time, had my fun... deployment money bought FD, GI Bill paid for modifying it!

so when will you be returning to the states?

I should be home in time for Halloween if everything goes as planned. I'm looking forward to finding a few parties to attend or crash... either way it'll be a blast being back in the states!
