I bought this rolling body without seeing so It was always going to be a bit of a gamble. Thankfully this time I won the toss. There is still a lot of work to do to get it on the road (as if I didnt have enough to do) but I'm sure eventually I'll finish it. I know sunroof SA's are common in N.America but rare in NZ. This JDM SE model has power windows/mirrors/hatch and leather etc. Unfortunately the fender mirrors, hoodlining, bumpers are missing but at least I have most of the other rare bits like window/mirror switches and instrument cluster.
Anyway I'll post some better pics but here are a few for now.

Let me know what you think?

Thanks guys, those pics are a bit deceiving, its not very nice when you look close up, the paint prep is sub standard so it will need a repaint. The leather seats have been exposed to weather and have torn at the seams in some places, the carpet and rear hatch are missing and many trim parts are broken or missing. Still it was cheap and has no accident damage. As for rust nothing obvious, just some minor surface in the footwell and tail light area. It a great base to start with I reckon.

I did at least get the headlights assembled AND installed from a jigsaw puzzle of parts.

dude those are the most bad ass seats ever.

I am going to buy some plaid, alcantara, and leather and restitch my TII seats like the VW ones:

I love the color. For a late 1970s car, that color was so perfect for the first gen RX-7s. Good luck with everything.

Cheers guys :) I still need a front bumper, valance and grill etc. I removed the FB front that the original owner fitted. I also bought a dark brown wiper motor cover to replace this black one that the original owner had fitted.
