Damn there's some sexy sleds in this thread.
Yeah it is ambitious, yeah I love a challenge, but in reality there's not that much work to do to the car. If I hustled I could probably get her back together in one day after i've done all that I need to do, repairs on the undercarriage and interior, a little re-wiring, build a fuel, new injectors and coils cell etc etc.... after that's done, it's just bolting parts on. I bet I could do it in a day.... not a normal persons day, but a Madmans day :D Those have been know to be upto 45 hrs long :smilielol5:

Mainly:
-Bilstein Coilovers (cusco camber plates/pillowball mounts)
-Work Equips 17x8/17x9
-Tires
-etc.
I just can't wait to blast the long sweepers on the way to the gap. I've been on my local runs for almost a year now w/ the suspension and about 3 months on the wheels and tires!!! She feels great and I love it. Oh and I replaced my busted diff mount w/ a competition one. So yeah, the gap should be a lot smoother this year. lol.

No kidding. Last year, for the car show, I ended up wedged in between a couple of big dumpsters in the lot across the street. After about 15 minutes, I just couldn't stand it anymore so Orion and I took off for another run on the Dragon.

We'll try to have more of generation specific sections. Hopefully the volunteers this year will help out where cars go..
But the parking area front of the main lodge will be only for vendors and picked cars. These cars will be picked friday at the dam or saturday morning til the spots fill up.

Really though, it wasn't a big deal and we weren't really all that upset with how things ended up. :) But when it came to the lure of the Dragon Vs. standing around looking at cars, well we could not resist the temptation. lol
It was a hell of a good time, and I'll be doing everything within my power to get back again this year.

Sorry on the lab coat, that was the largest one I had, other than the one I had that was promised to another. All the ones I have remaining are super small.

Well, I have to update. I am not happy with the random hard starts, and random misfire at startup the RX-8 is doing. So as not to risk catastrophic failure while out in BFE, I am not bringing the RX-8. I guess it is just me getting older, or having a child to take care of now, but I don't want to risk causing more damage $$$ wise.
So I am bringing this (which is faster than an RX-8 anyway):
