I have read a few post's but have not read a thing about cabins and room rates. Is this only given out once you register? I was trying to decide if I was coming alone or bringing the family. I am curious what a cabin rents for and what the rooms are going for.

Thnx....

No, you can go ahead and inquire about the rate. Just mention that your with the Rotary Car Club and you should get a percentage decrease and an extra day to stay. Prices vary dependent on the size of the cabin but a good deal regardless.

Or call them at: (828) 488-1209 I dont know if that # is right or not but there is these:

There's not. They're booked solid.
You have to call Microtel 8~9 miles away. Refrence that Natahola Village sent you and that you're with the DGRR or "rotary car club" and they'll give you a 10% discount. it's $71 a night for a room with 1 bed.

Mike,

Hope you could make it out... The list of attendee so far is very impressive.

FYI: Also, those of you booked your room without registering for DGRRX, your room could be pull off. In next couple of weeks, I'll be inquiring about all the reservation and if the person who booked the room does not match with the list of registered member, then I will asked them to refund and open that room back up. So, please register for the event before booking.

I'll also double check with NVNC about what cabins and rooms are available.

Phil

We just went ahead and booked with the Microtel place. If something opens up at NV, then we'll see if the price is right.

Now to just register with the event...

I will see if anyone has an open bed for me as my wife and kids dont seem interested. I can always crash at my dads house hour away...

I will register either way as this line up is very nice. I suggested a "Drag race cabin"...

I'm sure someone will have a space somewhere..

As of now, we have over 140 registered. I think we are going to break 200+ real soon :)

It looks like I've made the same mistake of waiting too long to book a room... damn.

On top of that, my S5 turbo turned out to be junk, and I got fired... FML.

Things are looking grim right now, hopefully I get another job before april...

Booking a reservation seems...intimidating. I called NV today and was informed of two cabins that were available, but they're on "difficult dirt roads". I'm not 100% sure what the guy meant by that, but my poor FB wouldn't be able to survive that kind of damage. Any suggestions of specific cabins or anything else to try?

I called today and they referred me to http://www.watershedcabins.com/ They said they are nearby to Nantahala village within a 3 minute drive. I'll probably be booking a cabin for the weekend there. If anyone else is interested, I think Watershed has a few more available.
