| My first car. My friend helped me learn to drive this year using his Shinka RX-8. Once I became confident behind the wheel of his Shinka I went and bought my RX-8 before I even had my license. I named her Angela and she has been a very trustworthy ride. A very, very forgiving ride too, considering some of the accidental hell I've put her through. I've had to replace the front bumper once and I've gotten stuck twice now. The first time was in the soft sands of Florida, and the second time was while driving in Northern Virginia. The second time was the worst since I got stuck in deep water, and got water on my floorboard. As far as upgrades and mods are concerned, I know that she has Kazera rims, and that when they were installed the previous owner never reinstalled the TPMS. The only mod I've done so far was upgrade her tires to Toyo Luxury Touring tires ($270 each). I want to get some money together so that I may upgrade her intake, ECU, and coil set in the future. |
