SSV valve replaced.... STILL TICKS....

I'm starting to think it's just a byproduct of the bridge port. Since there's overlap now, maybe there's a surge being pushed up the secondaries, causing the valve to oscillate a little, and making it tap against mounting bracket... My best guess...

Yes, and no. There should be a place across the street from the lodge to park it, but when the show is on the space will be tight. There are other spots to park though, and many cabins might have room.

1. Change wheels/pads
2. Adjust the SC belt
3. Fix a pesky coolant leak (only high rpms)
4. Tack my wheel weld and bumper up with something more presentable than racing tape
5. Swap fluids
6. Try not to crash on track before the event

Install new oil cooler lines
Add oil
Get all 4 wheels back on the ground
Pray it still runs in April... Pretty intense.

-Alignment
-New brake pads
-Decide to tune as is, or go ahead and install BNR Stage 4 (would need an intercooler solution, Rotary Extreme V-Mount preferably)
-Decide whether or not to purchase AEM Water/Meth kit for water injection
-Find and fix small exhaust leak
-Plan new oil cooler setup (I want a dual set similar to the FD)
-Complete parallel fueling setup
-Get rid of crappy Prosport Evos the car came with and install AEM UEGO gauges
-Make sure that my other engine is still all ready to go incase I blow the current one up before/during DGRR haha

Well, since I found some rust that really needs attention on the Cosmo, I'm bringing the RX-8.

-Change oil
-New plugs, wires, coils,
-New tires
-DETAIL (needs it bad)

No biggie.

Spoke too soon!

This happened:

On the way to work, driver side power window works perfect. Leave to go home, window doesn't budge. Weird. Took the door panel off, checked the switch, all is good. Checked power to the motor, all is good. Pull the motor, plug it in, and it works! Great (fuck). Pulled the inner door panel and voila! The cable on the regulator got bound up somehow.

Now, let me tell you what a massive PAIN IN THE ASS it is to re-wrap the cable onto the pulley, then get it all squared away in the little plastic carrier thing. I needed 4 hands, but was on my own. With the sheer power of determination (and fading daylight) I finally got it all together correctly. Put the inner panel and motor back on, key switch on, and VICTORY!!!!

Next time I'll just buy another assembly. Looked it up, only like $50. Sheesh.

just taking the door apart is a pain in the ass... I hate interior panels, I always seems to break shit when I deal with them.... Park the car until DGRR so you dont break more stuff on it!! I am driving as little as possible until then...
