meh, not exactely what you're thinking.....

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo with the exception of the filler tube, the mother's all welded up.... YEAH BIOTCH! about 2.5 hrs of welding and almost as much time spent cleaning the material becuase of all the humidity we've had lately.... really messes shit up. Pretty sure I had some moisture in the hoses as well Oh well, on with the pix

Good pic of the sender. The top warped slightly, had to brace it from the inside to weld it shut then reach in and remove the brace

That's a hell of a fit huh?

yup, straigtened everything with a little piece of angle on the side I couldn't reach.

Yup

You can if you want, but I'll just check out mcmaster-carr for some drawings first. To be honest you're pretty bad at mailing things . I'll let you know if you need to include it with the manifold too.

If the pump in the pics is going to feed the surge tank why bother running the line out the top and not directly into the surge tank?(troubleshooting later???)

I would hazard a guess that when/if you need to pull the pump, it's much easier, cleaner, safer to undo the line to the surge tank while it is outside the tank. As opposed to trying to undo fittings inside the tank.

I thought about that but then I would need to take the pump out and disconnect it from the feed line submerged in the tank. I thought if I ran it on the top, things would be easier. Also welding fittings on a round while possible is more difficult. And if I can't stand the Bosch pump again, I can run just the denso by swapping some outside lines while I wait for a new bigger denso to drop in and if that happens I am going to smash the bosch, then pee on it, light it on fire, pee on it, hit it with my BFH, pee on it, then mabye blow it up somehow. Then sell it to someone on the evil forum with drift, slidez, etc in his user name as slightly used.

This is also very true

Aight ladies, I'm back behind the TIG mask for another 2 hrs or so. Hopefully get the whole thing welded up tonight with the exception of the fittings on the cartridge for the Bosch

The drain gets plugged. The fill vent gets plumbed to a pressure gauge, the atmosphere vent gets plumbed to an air regulator. The feed gets plumbed to the return, I've got a plumbers plug for the fill. Add air pressure, smoke a cig and say a prayer then spray with water.

I sent an e-mail to him today, basically Mon-Wed next week for me I could probably make happen, Wed I could easily pull rank and get that day off for the dyno, then Limerock Thursday. So I'm hoping to have some GoPro vids up by the weekend..... if I miss it again.... well, we've covered that

Thinking of making a trip to the new shop to see the piece of poo on the dyno ... as opposed to just a comp test and a few beers
