what i did is to the black box ou from under the dash, and carefully pry off the little clips on it.
Then I just separated the box, and took out the evap radiator thingy... after that, the clips went back on, and i put some aluminum tape squares over the holes in the firewall and the black box. PS: this was done the same day I took my dashboard out.
