Default Chibikougan's 74 rx2 build

Well I have an 83 FB I was going to build thought I might as well start a thread. Primary use was going be SCCA fun times and or Death Proof Highway head on collisions. But it is bent and Fubar so now time for Rx2 sex

I am in the middle of tear down. I keep taking more out. I can't seem to stop. Gonna blow it apart.

Still buying some tools that will be needed. I will get some pics of the destruction up here soon.

Figure I might as well add both projects to this thread. This one is my baby and will have slow ass updates. 74 Rx2 powered by the Montanimal Shitbag there under the hood. Sadly that is how it still sits and I am still under there.

Haha thanks.

The messed up part is I picked up this Rx2 for $500 dollars. It came with the Racing Beat intake package, Header, Sway bar blocks, and a gas tank full of rust. Thankfully the last person to get it running put an aftermarket fuel filter one it and on end was plugged solid and the other was clean as a whistle.

Haha nice pic of the Rx2 Ransom.. funny stuff. Way to go on the interior demo... it was in pretty rough shape. Are you gonna rebuild the engine in the FB or leave as is?

Yes mate it is. I paid out the arse for that power steering addition and now I don't think I will even need it. It sounds so GOOOOooooooooood. Even better on a turbo car. I have to get a set for the 12a now too. No slippin for me.

Was Matt or Rett doing a lot of shooting from inside the car. I found atleast 30 spent 7.62 casings, a bunch of .22 casings. Also like 13 live rounds. And gobstoppers out the ass. I did find a cool sticker though. Also I hate half assed audiophiles. You will see what I mean. I am going to give this motor a go. I started it and it fires up but the ignition was all wrong. I may have to rebuild. I am not sure if I am going to do the build on it as I can get Daryl to do it for around $1200. I think he feels sorry for me because I am a dumbass.

Sweet. You still didn't say where you got it

I'm thinking about getting the Rotary Works kit. It is fairly inexpensive.
