Default New Intake Manifold; Mech OMP Concern

I've got a design for a custom intake manifold and am beginning the mental process of working through installation. While doing this, it struck me that I still have the OMP to consider. I will be using a standard throttle body (say a mustang 90mm for sake of arguement), but that precludes any out-of-the box attachment to the mechanical OMP control rod. So what are my options?

Some ideas that come to my mind are:
Convert to electric omp (i think i can run it on my ps1k)
Modify the tb to accept the control rod--this won't go well
Block-off and premix (I'd like to avoid that if possible)

Are there any other options I should consider? Are there anythings i need to be aware of with the aforementioned items?

Sounds like you answered your own question. Premix.

Only other option would be the Sohn(sp) (Rotary Aviation) adapter for adding the premix.

If you are using an aftermarket controller if it has an extra digital output for straight on/off control for a pump, or if you are lucky an analog output that is variable.

If your ECU can drive it, I'd go the electronic OMP route. You'll need to swap in an S5 front cover as well.

Is there any detriment to just locking the mechanical OMP to max besides increased oil consumption?

I don't understand why people are so confused on the concept of pre-mixing. Hell, even my little renni get's premix as well as the electric OMP.

I suspect a cable wold be very easy to setup to control the OMP mechanically, and if the PS1k can rock the electric, I would go that route with the Sohn adapter and premix in the tank as well.

Now that's an idea B. Maybe a bicycle type cable and piggybacking/modifying the TB might work. Will need to look into and validate that I have the stepper motor output available for the OMP (I can't remember if I was already going to use that for a IAC, but I can always get away with either the A or D out).

I do like the Sohn idea.

Looks like the Sohn adapter offered by RA is only available for the OMP-style (or the Renni).
